Since the second half of 2008, the global auto market has been impacted directly by the global financial crisis. The three big American auto companies declared to reduce the production volume while other manufacturers which are famous for high efficiency and profit such as Toyota and Volkswagen had to depress the production & sales target. The global credit crisis and economy decline slowed down the development pace of Chinese automotive market; however, it doesn’t mean all the effects were negative. Accompany with challenge, it also brings great development opportunities.

Currently, the R&D pace for environmental friendly vehicle is becoming faster and faster while the hybrid, electric and hydrogen drive technology break through continuously. Meanwhile, the exhaust gas emission standard became stricter to promote the wide domestic application of EGR & SCR technology. The emergence of new green tech lays a firm foundation for the sustainable development of Chinese automotive industry.
